The hotel was extremely clean – spotless!
Upon arrival, my room was much smaller than expected, and the noise from the street was unbearable throughout the night. After requesting a fan due to the lack of AC, I received a weak one that barely helped. The double bed was uncomfortable as it was just two single beds pushed together, making it challenging to sleep as a couple.

Consider bringing extra towels as the bathroom lacked sufficient hooks or storage for wet items.

the stairs are an absolute nightmare, my precious luggage barely made it up. And let's not forget the discomfort of stains on the towels, it's like they think we're not worthy of cleanliness. I asked for a simple towel upgrade or even an apology but was met with indifference. I almost left a good review, just couldn’t.

great access to attractions and cozy dining spots nearby
I had a wonderful time, as the hotel is just a short walk from famous attractions like the Van Gogh Museum and the beautiful Westerkerk. There's a lovely coffee shop right next door for those morning strolls.

good stay , but minor issues
The location was excellent, within walking distance of many main attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and responsive, which significantly enhanced my experience. My room was exceptionally neat and comfortable, allowing for restful sleep. I particularly enjoyed the powerful shower which added a nice touch to my stay.
The stairs leading up to my room posed a challenge, especially with luggage.

missingWrote a review on 01 Junclean roomcomfortable bedpowerful showersmall roomsteep stairs
The room was clean and tidy, which was a big plus. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the powerful shower. the heating worked well, but the room was on the smaller side, and the stairs were steep. Definitely not ideal for lugging heavy bags. You can hear street noise pretty easily too, so sleep might be a bit tricky if you're a light sleeper.
